No one has ever changed the world alone. Of course, smart, strong, passion filled folk have worked their butts off to cause change. But change happened not because of the thing they invented or created, or believed, but because others followed.

It was the others, really, who changed the world.

They took up the mantle. They keep the fire burning, or published the book, or read the book, or burned their bra, or stood in front of fire hoses, or sat down in front of an army holding guns.

We have a culture of worshiping the hero. But you have followed. You have taken up the mantle. You have stood and joined others in what you believe in.

You, really, are the hero. You have shaken the world, gently.
