Creativity needs three things.

  1. Skill. You need to know how to make or do your craft. Some skills will come easily, others will take a lot of practice. Most creatives spend their life honing their skills and learning new ones.
  2. Practice. The thing that sets masters apart from the pack is not talent, but practice. The more you practice creativity, the more you will find.
  3. Space. You need space in your heart and mind to allow ideas to form. You need space to be able to see the genius when she visits.

It’s number three that is most neglected. We all understand about one and two, but three is the linchpin that brings the others alive.

If you are looking for number three in your world, check out NatureBathing. It promises space in the heart and mind.
