I’ve just updated my ‘commission’ page.  It gives a much better understanding of how the commission process works and why you would want to commission a painting in the first place.

The Waiheke Winter Art Festival

The inaugural Waiheke Winter Art Festival is happening this Queens birthday weekend – June 5,6,7.  Its a bit swanky, a bit fun, a bit glamorous and way more than a bit of a great way to spend a winters day.  You get to meet Waiheke’s more established artists at their working studios – all in fine style.

The Studio/Gallery of Emma Wright at 13 Hauraki Road is open to the public and is a popular destination for both local and visiting art lovers.   Emma has been noted as “one of New Zealand’s favourite artists” and has had solo exhibitions around NZ, Melbourne, LA and London. www.emmawright.co.nz

Studio reorganise

Today is the day.  The studio is getting totally reorganised.  The office is going out into the big room and where the office is, is being turned into the studio.  It makes more sense to have an office with a carpet and a studio with white walls and floors.
